Frequently Asked Questions
Who drafted the templates in the Legal Shop?
Nicole Cheri Oden is a licensed attorney in the State of California.
An attorney is a law school trained professional who passed the bar exam, was sworn in, and can make appearances in front of a Judge.
Does buying a template make you my attorney?
Nope, no attorney-client relationship is formed by purchasing a legal template. Unless a signed written Retainer Agreement exists with Nicole Cheri Oden Law, I’m not your attorney and am not providing legal advice.
What if I want a custom contract?
If your business is based or incorporated in California, you can head here to book a Contract Consult.
Are your templates only for US-based businesses?
Yes, since I’m licensed in California in the US, my templates are drafted for other US-based businesses.
Do you offer refunds?
No, due to the downloadable nature of my templates, I do not offer refunds. If you have any problems accessing or downloading your templates, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
How will I receive the template(s) I purchased?
You will receive an email with a link to a zip file. Download and unzip the file for access to both Word and pdf versions of your template. The pdf version can act as a guidepost while you modify the Word version.
I purchased a template, but don’t see the email in my inbox – what should I do?
Check your junk/spam folder. The email “powers that be” probably re-directed the message there since it’s being delivered straight from our website. If you don’t see it, please email me at email@example.com
Can I share the cost of a template (or the template itself) with someone else?
How do I become an affiliate for your legal templates?
You can learn more about Legal Templates and More’s affiliate program and apply to become an affiliate by heading here.
