Hey hey! I’m Nicole.
I’m a wife, mama, attorney, and small business owner. I help online entrepreneurs like you protect their businesses, income, and boundaries with my easy to use attorney-drafted legal templates.
After 4 ½ years at a big law firm working 12-14 hour days, I became a mama. I knew that if I wanted to be present while my daughter grew up I needed to make some big changes. So, I took a leap of faith and started my own virtual law firm, Nicole Cheri Oden Law, PC. I spent the next 2 years learning how to actively create a work-life balance and helping other women do the same while also running my law practice.
After receiving countless questions from other online entrepreneurs who were just so overwhelmed with legal, I pivoted in my coaching to offer legal templates to take the expense and overwhelm out of the process for them.
Most days you can find me chasing my sassy 6-year-old daughter around, living my best life in leggings, and blogging about all things legal and work-life balance. I’m a big time Disney fanatic and love our Jack Russell Terrier, Cooper, to pieces.
I truly believe that heart-centered female entrepreneurs are a force to be reckoned with. And I am so thankful that I am able to pursue my passion while helping other entrepreneurs do the same with the confidence of knowing how to protect their online businesses.
My drafting credentials:
I’m a licensed attorney in the State of California. I received the Super Lawyers Rising Star award 4 years running (2018-2021) for being in the top 2.5% of attorneys in the state.
I worked for a prestigious boutique family law firm where I participated in all aspects of the practice, which included representing individuals in litigation, Mediation, and Collaborative Law cases, prior to opening my own settlement-minded family law firm in 2016.
I graduated from Southwestern Law School in 2011 and was the recipient of the Dean’s Scholar and Dean’s Merit Scholarships. I received awards for having the highest grades in Sales Law and Legal Writing. I externed for the Honorable Scott M. Gordon, the former Presiding Judge of Los Angeles County Superior Court – Family Law Division, and obtained valuable knowledge and insight regarding court proceedings and strategies.
I studied English at California State University, Long Beach as a President’s Scholar (with a full scholarship) and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Minor in Sociology in 2006. I am also a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
